First, congratulations to all of my students this past semester! I am so impressed by all of you — how you think, learn and aspire to lead fulfilling lives. It’s not just about money or prestige for them, it’s also about making a difference while fully capitalizing on their own talents and skills. Enjoy your break!
Being right in the middle of completing research for a new project is crazy! Most interesting is how you drop into what I call the “research abyss” where you completely lose track of almost everything but your subject. I think it’s necessary in order to completely develop the material and do it justice. Because this project while still in the field of business communication is not gay specific or focused on diversity and inclusion, I am excited to expand my professional reach. I’m meeting some very inspiring business leaders and employees across generations who are changing the way we live in the world along with employees from all over the world.
Last, in addition to wishing my students congratulations on a great semester — your grades will be posted this weekend! Get some sleep and enjoy your families and friends!
